OBJECTIVES:
Under this programme the NSS volunteers undertake various need based programs in the adopted villages and college campus which helps in inculcating among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility.
ACTIVITIES OF THE YEAR 2019-20:
Our NSS wing organized a 5 days Camp in Puravipalayam Village. The field works done by the students were: destroying the Polythene bags in and around the village, canvassing the public against the use of Polythene bags, cleaning and whitewashing of the village school buildings, water tanks and water pipes. Awareness rallies were conducted on environment protection and its necessity, AIDS awareness and Rainwater harvesting, Free eye camp were organized for the village people.
