On 27th June 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering conducted a seminar titled “Entrepreneurship Opportunities and Challenges.” The session featured Mr. Saravanan, a speaker from Q Focus Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore. He shared valuable insights on identifying entrepreneurial opportunities and tackling challenges in the industry. The seminar aimed to inspire and motivate students to explore entrepreneurship as a career path.
Around 38 students from II and III years actively participated in the session. The event highlighted real-world examples and strategies for successful entrepreneurship. Students gained practical knowledge and were encouraged to think innovatively about their future ventures. The seminar was well-received and praised for its engaging and informative content.On 27th June 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering organized a seminar on "Intellectual Property Rights" for II and III year students. The session was led by Mr. K. Prakash, Assistant Professor at SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore. A total of 38 students attended, gaining valuable insights into the fundamentals and importance of intellectual property rights. The speaker discussed various types of IPR, their legal protections, and their role in innovation and entrepreneurship. Practical examples and case studies were shared to enhance understanding of real-world applications. The session emphasized the importance of safeguarding innovative ideas in the engineering field. Students actively participated, asking questions and engaging in discussions on intellectual property. The seminar was well-received and contributed to the students' knowledge and career development.
On 28th August 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering organized a Seminar on Health & Wellness followed by a Medical Camp for I, II, and III-year students. The seminar was conducted by Dr. S. Niranjana Devi from Nandhu Clinic, Hope College, Peelamedu, Coimbatore. A total of 56 students participated in the event, which emphasized the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being. The session covered topics such as healthy lifestyle practices, stress management, and preventive healthcare. Following the seminar, a medical camp was held where students received basic health check-ups and personalized advice. The event aimed to create awareness about health among students and promote wellness in their daily lives. Students found the seminar and camp highly beneficial and actively engaged with the speaker. The program concluded successfully, leaving a positive impact on the participants.
On 19th September 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering hosted the Mini Project Expo 2024 for II-year students. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Vignesh M, from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. A total of 21 students showcased their innovative mini-projects, highlighting their technical skills and creativity. Projects covered various themes, including sustainable solutions, automation, and modern engineering applications. Mr. Vignesh provided valuable feedback and insights to students, encouraging them to enhance their projects further. The expo aimed to foster a culture of innovation and practical learning among students. The event was well-received, with students actively participating and gaining constructive input. It concluded successfully, motivating students to take on advanced projects in their future academic pursuits.
